Functional as well as sculptural work by Nickolaus Fruin, Eddie Bernard, Suzanne Ririe and Stephen W. Protheroe will be shown.
STARworks Glass Lab opened on October 30, 2008 at the Central Park NC annual meeting. The Glass Lab was started based on a partnership between STARworks, Center for Creative Enterprise and Wet Dog Glass. Central Park NC Executive Director, Nancy Gottovi, and Wet Dog founders, Eddie and Angela Bernard wanted to bring a fully operational glass studio to the area, which would in turn help build a budding glass community. The artists featured in the exhibition use STARworks Glass Lab on a regular basis.
RedSky Gallery features original works on paper and canvas, sculpture, ceramic, glass, studio furniture, art-to-wear, jewelry, and more. Over 500 regional and national artists are represented at three gallery locations in Dilworth, Blakeney Town Centre in South Charlotte and the EpiCentre in Uptown.
