Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville,
NC, Features Works by John Anderson
The Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville,
NC, is presenting the exhibit, Will Paint for Food, featuring
works by watercolorist John Anderson, on view in the Grace Etheredge
Room at Opportunity House through Nov. 11, 2010.
Anderson's first art education occurred while he was still an
elementary school student attending Saturday art classes in Philadelphia.?
Drawing became a major part of his career as an architect for
46 years. Anderson took up watercolor after retiring to western
North Carolina in 2005.?He describes his painting style as "realistic".
He is a member of the Asheville Gallery of Art and is also represented
by the Gallery Alta Vista in Valle Crusis, NC.
