Elder Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Presents
2nd Annual Carolina Salon Exhibition
The second annual Carolina Salon Exhibition is on display through Nov. 30, 2010, at Elder Gallery in Charlotte's Historic SouthEnd art district. Forty-two pieces of art created by artists from North and South Carolina comprise this diverse show.
Carolina Salon 2010 is a subset of Carolina's Got Art! which was on display at historic Atherton Mill in Charlotte during October.
1800 entries from artists around the two Carolinas were reviewed by New York art critic and writer, Mario Naves, who selected a show for the Atherton Mill location in Charlotte.
Larry Elder of Elder Gallery also reviewed
the entries and has selected a smaller show to honor the talented
artists whose work was not chosen for CGA!. This show features
oil and acrylic paintings, sculpture, ceramics, pastel on paper,
watercolors, and photography.
Elder Gallery's show features artists from twenty-six cities,
towns and communities from around the two states. The broad variety
of art is available for sale at very affordable prices.
