Woolworth Walk in Asheville, NC, Offers
Works by Abby Lee & Michelle Sumares
Woolworth Walk in Asheville, NC, will
present the exhibit, Revelations, featuring paintings by
Abby Lee and sculpture by Michelle Sumares, on view in the FW
Front Gallery from Jan. 7 - 30, 2011. A reception will be held
on Friday, Jan. 7, from 4-6pm.
Abby Lee is a painter who strives to express through her work
the various ideas that form daily in her brain. She is also known
to have wildly vivid and compelling dreams that she then portrays
as a story on canvas with her paint and brush upon waking.
Michelle Sumares is a figurative, ceramic sculptor who works in
her home studio in Asheville. The mystical, sensual and spiritual
nature of the feminine tends to define her work, although aspects
of child archetypes speak their voice as well.
