Charleston Artist
Guild in Charleston, SC, Features Works by Olli Wendelin
The Charleston Artist
Guild in its new location on East Bay Street in downtown Charleston,
SC, will present the exhibit, Movement and Flow (The Energy
of Dance), featuring works by Olli Wendelin, on view at the
Guild Gallery from Dec. 1 - 31, 2009.
Wendelin is one of the gallery's premier photographers. Experience
his photography as it captures the quiet beauty of the dance while
emphasizing its drama, strength and energy through his use of
light and color. Born in Finland, Wendelin has called Charleston
his home since 1961. Over the past 34 years, he has studied his
world looking through the lens of his camera. His observations
have become his art.
The Charleston Artist
Guild Gallery features works by 74 local artists. Not only does
it provide yet another wonderful place for art lovers to find
treasures, it allows many artists the opportunity to exhibit their
work along side peers of great diversity.
