Gallery in Columbia, SC, Features Works by Holle Black
Portfolio Art Gallery in Columbia, SC, will present an exhibit of works by Holle Black, a newcomer to the South Carolina art scene, from Dec. 5 - 31, 2009.
Noted for her paintings of flora and fauna in renaissance colors of yellow, ocre, and blue, Black uses pigmented plaster, oils and graphite on wood panels. Her work is described as "pastoral, timeless, and harmonious."
