Green Hill Center for NC Art in Greensboro, NC, Features Annual Winter Art Show & Sale
The Green Hill Center for NC Art at the Greensboro Cultural Center, in Greensboro, NC, opens its Winter Show with one of Greensboro’s most popular holiday events: the Collector’s Choice Fundraiser on Dec. 3, 2011, from 7-11pm.
Collector’s Choice provides a rare opportunity to truly become engaged with the very best art North Carolina has to offer. Participants have an advance opportunity to purchase pieces in the Winter Show exhibition before they are available to the public and to meet and mix with exhibiting artists over food and wine. A must-do for those who love and appreciate fine art and craft. Proceeds from Collector’s Choice benefit Green Hill Center’s exhibition and educational programming.
The remaining works in the 2011 Winter Show will be on view from Dec. 4 through January 15, 2012. An opening reception will be held on Dec. 4, from 2-5pm.
This exhibition brings together over 100 artists each year from across North Carolina and constitutes a comprehensive survey of the finest art and crafts being produced in the state. Since 1979, Green Hill Center’s Winter Show continues to be the best venue for art for the holiday season and experiencing the works of NC artists.
