The Art League
of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, Features Works by Beverly
Bowden Pickard
The Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, will present an exhibit of paintings by Beverly Bowden Pickard, on view in the Grace Etheridge Room at the Opportunity House, from Feb. 14 through Mar. 11, 2010.
Pickard's style which
she describes as "Painterly realism with Oils" has been
displayed in local galleries, corporations, museums and private
collections. She says "The creative process inspires me in
an eagerness to make connections and express these connections
with paint - a passion for what I see and an urgency to respond".
She and her husband live in Saluda, NC, where they have an art
gallery, Saluda Fine Arts.
