The Haen Gallery
in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Francis Di Fronzo
The
Haen Gallery, located in downtown Asheville, NC, is presenting
the exhibit, Inland Empire (Part III), an exhibition of
new work by California artist Francis Di Fronzo, on view through
Apr. 30, 2010.
The largescale landscape paintings of Di Fronzo, dynamic
in both color and composition, portray the natural world with
a sense of nostalgia and mystery. The artist received his
graduate degree at The Pennsylvania School of the Fine Arts and
there is a strong Wyeth-like element in his work. Di Fronzo's
beginnings as a realist are perfectly showcased in his impeccable
approach to the leaves, trees, skies, waters, and boats that inhabit
his canvases.
The Haen Gallery is
pleased to present the work of Francis Di Fronzo for the first
time in Asheville, and believes the artist's approach to the natural
environment will be a welcome addition to our arts community.
