Charleston in North Charleston, SC, Features Annual Exhibition
The City of North Charleston's
Cultural Arts Department will present its annual Art &
Fine Craft Co-Op Exhibit at The Meeting Place, located in
the Olde North Charleston Business District in North Charleston,
SC, from Apr. 2 through May 29, 2010.
The Meeting Place Art and Fine Craft Co-Op is a temporary artist
cooperative gallery. The gallery is dedicated to presenting many
artists of varied backgrounds working in a diverse array of media
and styles, from representational to contemporary, in both two
and three dimensions. Works typically exhibited include paintings,
prints, sculptures, fine crafts, jewelry, and more. All pieces
on exhibit will be available for sale.
The Meeting Place is
located at 1077 East Montague Avenue in the revitalized Olde North
Charleston Business District.
The Cultural Arts Department is the recipient of the 2000 Elizabeth
O'Neill Verner Award for the Arts and receives support from the
National Endowment for the Arts, SC Arts Commission, and the corporate
community.
