Nicole’s Studio & Art Gallery in Raleigh, NC, Offers Invitational Exhibit
Nicole’s Studio and Art Gallery in Raleigh, NC, presents a special invitational exhibit based on the recently released hardcover glossy book, Painting North Carolina, A Visual Journey by Kimberlee Maselli. This exhibit will be on view from Apr. 5 - 30, 2013, and features 15 artists in all media who represent many of the top painters in both North Carolina and the US. A reception will be held on Apr. 5, from 6-8:30pm.
Included in the exhibition are works by nationally recognized Contemporary Impressionists and award winning NC artists who have obtained national accolades as well, including: Diana Coidan, Judy Crane, Jean Grunewald, Wyn Easton, John Groesser, Dodi Groesser, Nicole Kennedy, Kimberlee Maselli, Rick McClure (Oklahoma), Dan Nelson, David Oakley, Patricia Pittman, John Poon (Utah), Richard Wilson, and Dawn Whitelaw (TN).
The artwork in this exhibit will depict the best of North Carolina from piedmont, mountains, coastal plains, rural farms to NC beach people and even dancers from the Carolina ballet. Paintings will be accompanied by the artist’s thoughts and musings about a particular scene or location, many of which are painted en plein air (Out in the open air).
Nicole’s Studio & Art Gallery is planning a North Carolina themed opening featuring not only beautiful works of art but live music and a chance to meet many of the artists, some of whom will be painting on site. The book, Painting North Carolina, A Visual Journey will be available at the gallery, at Amazon and other locations for $29.95.
