The Real Estate Studio in Charleston, SC, Features Works by Sue and Nance Lee Sneddon

The Real Estate Studio in Charleston, SC, will present New Works by Sue Sneddon and Nance Lee Sneddon, on view from Apr. 10 through May 20, 2013. A reception will be held on Apr. 25, from 5-8pm.

Sue Sneddon and Nance Lee Sneddon return to The Real Estate Studio with an exhibition of new works, showcasing their different-but-complementary painting styles. Both artists have a striking command of color and composition, deriving from a deeply-held respect for and examination of the natural world. Nance Lee works primarily with acrylics and mixed medium, while Sue employs mainly oils and pastels.

Nance Lee Sneddon’s work has an exuberant, celebratory tone, weaving images together in a tapestry-like fashion. Sue Sneddon’s work includes land and seascapes that capture fleeting moments of beauty, both realistic and meditative.

The Sneddon sisters have shown together in North and South Carolina, and have had numerous solo shows nationally.

The Real Estate Studio is the downtown office of Dunes Properties, a boutique real estate, vacation rental and property management company serving the Charleston area since 1989. The Real Estate Studio supports Charleston’s thriving art community by highlighting a new artist or organization every six weeks. The Studio routinely hosts special events and receptions for area non-profits and artists.
