Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, will present the exhibit, New Photographers, featuring photographs by Julie Breckenridge, Maureen Moxley and Sarah Haynes, WCU students, on view in the media center of Hunter Library on the WCU campus, from May 4 through Aug. 1, 2009.
The exhibition features
15 photographs by Julie Breckenridge, who is earning a bachelor's
degree in art education, and Maureen Moxley and Sarah Haynes,
both earning bachelor of fine arts degrees. The students are scheduled
to graduate from the College of Fine and Performing Art's school
of art and design in May.
"The works are about human perception," said Cathy Griffin,
WCU photography professor. "Every time you look at the images,
you are going to notice something new because we experience the
world day by day, with a new vision every time."
