Mooresville Artist Guild in Mooresville, NC, Offers National Watercolor Exhibition
The Mooresville Artist Guild in Mooresville, NC, will present the American Watercolor Society’s 146th Traveling Exhibition, featuring 40 paintings from the New York exhibit, on view in the Mooresville Visual Arts Depot Center, from May 4 through June 9, 2013. Many of the paintings are award winners from the New York exhibition.
Featured during the exhibit’s opening on Saturday, May 4, will be Cheap Joe Day. Joe Miller (Cheap Joe) and friends will be at the exhibition to meet and greet fellow artists and art supporters. Also at the event will be Steve Rogers AWS member and former exhibit judge. The event will open at 10am at the Depot.
On Tuesday, May 7, at 7pm, Steve Rogers will host a tour of the exhibit at the Depot.
With advance notice group tours lunch arrangements can be made by the Art Guild at various restaurants or a box lunch can be provided.
