Center in Seneca, SC, Features Works by Shannon Wright
The
Blue Ridge Arts Center in Seneca, SC, is presenting an exhibit
of works by Shannon Wright, a Tampa, FL, born photographer, on
view through June 26, 2009.
Wright has moved to many locales throughout her life giving her a deep appreciation for the landscapes that surround her. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan and an acceptance to Clemson University's Master of Fine Arts program in 2006 brought her to South Carolina where she now lives.
Wright has been making photographic images since her early teen years and is rarely with out a camera still today. When not out photographing the Southern landscapes she is teaching Photography at Anderson University's Art Department, in Anderson, SC. She has won several photographic awards not only here in the upstate but also in Michigan, as well as in the nationally published Photographer's Forum magazine.
