Charleston Artist Guild in Charleston,
SC, Features Works by Steve Jacobs
Charleston Artist Guild
in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibit, The Light of Charleston,
featuring works by Steve Jacobs at the Guild Gallery, on view
from June 5 - 30, 2009.
Although Jacobs concentrates in oil, he has also enjoys working
in watercolor, acrylics and pencil. Before leaving Charleston
to go to college, the seed for his passion for art was planted
in high school under the tutelage of Virginia Fouché Bolton.
His yearning to return to Charleston is evident throughout his
work as the city, its architecture, and more importantly the "light
of Charleston" have now become his main subjects.
