City Art Gallery
in Columbia, SC, Offers Community Project Exhibition
City Art Gallery in
Columbia, SC, will present the exhibit, Connections Through
Light: An Intergenerational Photography Project, on view from
July 9 - 25, 2009.
The exhibition presents photographs taken by University of South
Carolina photography students of residents of Still Hopes Episcopal
Retirement Community in Columbia. The exhibit includes photographic
interpretations of life vignettes of the project participants.
Each resident has been paired with a student and the stories have
been exchanged. The presentation will showcase the diverse and
shared viewpoints of the participants as they tell the story of
their other-generational partner.
