Gallery Up in
Rock Hill, SC, Offers Contemporary Juried Exhibition
Gallery Up in Rock Hill,
SC, is presenting the exhibit, 30 Small Works, the 2nd
annual juried exhibition of contemporary art from across the country,
on view through Aug. 7, 2009.
Submissions to this competition were required to be no larger
than 20 inches in any direction and created within the past two
years. With over 100 artist submissions, this year's exhibition
promises to be an engaging and diverse representation of contemporary
art from across the country.
This year's juror was Sharon Dowell, accomplished painter and the Director of the Center of the Earth Gallery in Charlotte, NC.
Participating artists include: Howard Koerth (Oklahoma City, OK); Lisa Weiss (Nashville, TN); Katie Queen (Los Angeles, CA); Robert Kirk Williams (Denver, CO); Kim Flora (Cincinnati, OH); Michael Gayk (Rock Hill, SC); Donna Plunkett (Clearwater, FL); Dylan J. Beck (Manhattan, KS); Michelle Tobia (Oshkosh, WI); Jill Birschbach (Evanston, IL); Paula Smith (Rock Hill, SC); Patty Kochaver (Northbrook, IL); Julie O'Daly (East Quoque, NY); Greg Sand (Clarksville, TN); Jim Connell (Rock Hill, SC); Julia Feld (San Jose, CA); Laurie Joan Aron (New York, NY); LB-Squared (Charlotte, NC); Samantha VanDeman (Villa Park, IL); and Michael Gayk and Courtney Starrett (Rock Hill, SC).
