Caldwell Memorial
Hospital in Lenoir, NC, Features Works by Toni Indicott
The Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC, will present an exhibit of works by Toni Indicott, sponsored by the Caldwell Arts Council, on view in the Art in Healing Gallery, from July 1 through Sept. 30, 2010.
Indicott is a Lenoir watercolorist who loves painting rural America. Beautiful barns, boats, churches, skies, trees and landscapes are the main body of her work.
Indicott is a member of the Brush and Palette Club in Lenoir and a member of the Wednesday Morning Painters at the Abingdon Arts Depot in Abingdon VA. Her work has been shown at the Highlands Festival; she is involved with the 606 State Street Gallery in Bristol, TN, as a showing member.
Indicott was a recipient of the Stevens Family Scholarship in 2009, and has participated for three years in the Artists Alley Show in Blowing Rock, NC. With no "formal" training, she began painting 5-1/2 years ago, while studying with Harry Thompson, Janet Rogers, Steve Rogers, Robert Heke, and Gerald Brommer.
