Hillsborough Arts Council Offers Works by Victoria Primicias & Christine Hager-Braun

The Hillsborough Arts Council in Hillsborough, NC, is presenting Layers of Nature, featuring works by encaustic artist Victoria Primicias and fiber artist Christine Hager-Braun, on view in the Council Gallery through Aug. 24, 2013.

In this exhibition, visitors are treated to a stunning showcase of two talented artists’ tactile interpretations of nature. Encaustic artist Victoria Primicias and fiber artist Christine Hager-Braun find inspiration in nature from two distinct vantage points. Ranging from microscopic slices of wood to distant ocean vistas to deep space, these highly textured works dare you to keep your hands to yourself.

Join us for this show in newly-renovated space that features high ceilings, exposed brick walls and rustic wooden floors.

The Hillsborough Arts Council Gallery, located on North Churton Street across from the Wooden Nickel, is a nonprofit gallery space that promotes the visual arts in Hillsborough and Orange County and gives emerging and mid-career artists a venue for the display and sale of their artwork. A portion of all sales supports the Gallery’s mission.

For further information check our NC Institutional Gallery listings, call the Gallery at 919/643-2500 or visit (www.hillsboroughartscouncil.org).
